It's time to take a stand

The way you feel about your body is not your fault

It's a tool of the patriarchy to keep women small and suppress us

Make us obsess about how we look so that we can't think about much else

Women's rights are being eroded across the world

In Afghanistan, women are not allowed to talk in public.  Women are also now not allowed to hear EACH OTHER'S VOICES even during prayer

In Iraq, they passed laws that effectively bypass the age of marriage, which is 18, so that families can marry off their girls as young as 9 - fucking 9 years old.

And of course in the US they've elected a president who wants to tell women what to do with their bodies and strip them of the ability to choose the health care that is best for them.

And there's rumblings of that here too.

In late 2024, Orange Public Hospital, NSW gave a directive to staff not to provide information about abortion unless there were medical complications with the pregnancy. At Queanbeyan Public Hospital, NSW they banned all surgical abortions even if they were required medically.

ABORTION IS LEGAL IN AUSTRALIA AND YET THIS IS HAPPENING.

So far this year 53 women have died violent deaths in Australia, most at the hands of the men.  Their sons, their partners, their former partners.

Women are overwhelmingly not respected on this planet.

Now more than ever, we need to focus on what's important and I am here to tell you it is not the size of your arse in your jeans or your arms in a tank top or the grey hairs or wrinkles.

Each and every one of you needs to make the conscious decision, the radical, out there decision, that you are perfect as you are right now.

Not when you lose 5 kg, or when you tighten up your belly or any other beauty ideal that is living rent free in your head.

RIGHT NOW.

You are a woman, a glorious being, full of life and ideas and love and fun and adventure and pleasure.
Your body is the least interesting thing about you

But I know that this is not as easy as it sounds, it's taken me years to get where I am now - not giving a fuck

That's why I created the Body Image Reset, the easiest and cheapest course I've ever made to help you get there too.

It's a private podcast you can listen to whenever it works best for you.

There are 11 eps up now and I have plans for 8 more.

Liz Reichard in all her beingness acknowledges the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation as the Custodians of the places we dance on. I acknowledge you as the custodians throughout the flow of time and honour the custodial role you have always undertaken. I love seeing the incredible connection of the Wurundjeri People with nature and their community in the motion of cultural dance. The beauty and power of nature here is a fabulous reflection of the care and conservation you have provided. The trees of this place are particularly majestic and fill me with ease and calm which is an awe-inspiring reminder of the sacredness and ancient nature of the land and of your people. I pay full-bodied respects to the Wurundjeri Elders past and present. I am committed to having the movement of my business to be an embodiment of respect to the Aboriginal community.
